It's
an issue we will all need to be more aware of, as in the current climate there
will be some out there who will lose no opportunity to say "here is another
example of those irresponsible other airspace users, let's get them out of the
air!".

I see the Dalby CTAF's frequency is the same as the multicom 126.7 which is
convenient. Your point backs up my recommendation for having two radios in
a glider: one monitoring (and occasionally announcing on) the multicom and
the other on the glider frequency.
I think landing in a MBZ (MANDATORY
As we (Canberra Gliding Club) have a glider and trailer on the water at the
moment I've been following the trailer registration issue up with our local
authority (ACT motor registry).
As has been mentioned by others, GFA and VicRoads did some work about 4
years ago that led to the issue of a VicRo
I am afraid you could be right. We had a
member who would do things like that. I would eventually hear
reports about no radio in MBZ and had to visit the flying School
concerned to get to the bottom of reports Fortunately the pilot did
not like me and he left and formed his own club at ou

Which is what is done during a bi-annual for a PPL.

Does anyone have the results from the NSW Comps at Lake Keepit last week ?

Do you have import documentation for the trailer itself?
We had problems with our recent import of our DG1000: apparently customs (?) did not
have any documentation regarding the trailer and this made life very difficult when
it came to registering the trailer (in NSW) Don Palmer could give you

I watched the news on Channel 10, 9 and 2 (and 7.30 report) last night here
in Adelaide.
It was great to see the air traffic controller's union and international
pilots' association scaring the pants of the travelling public about the
nasty light planes that WILL crash into a people mover one day
I attended my local Aero clubs information night on NAS last
night. Proudly wearing a gliding t-shirt. However upon arriving I was
bombarded with comments about gliders thinking they have their own
rules.
It seems that earlier in the day a glider had landed, unannounced in the
MBZ. A little while
Now come on Brian, you are not allowed to be critical of mike's views, you
know he will only add you you to his list along with me and most other GFA
members. After all you could not possibly know what you are talking about
given that you choose to fly legaly under the the rules.

I am with Brian Wade on this. What Bob Hall wrote is appropriate and good
advice to glider pilots. Mike, I cannot see in my inflight guide supplied
to power pilots where you think E airspace is controlled. What perhaps you
are referring to is within 40nm of a Class D aerodromes (Albury, Coffs,
