A great day for the Aussies. 1st and 4th in Standard Class and (just) 3rd and 10th in Club Class. All classes were devalued as the tasks were less than 3 hours. Bruce has 961pts Terry 858pts . In Club Class the winner had 959 second place 957 and Pete 954pts a very close race. Simon has 648pts.

There is a bit in Fred Thomas "Fundamentals of Sailplane Design" that discusses how to optimise aspect ratio and wing loading during the design stage. It shouldn't be too hard to reverse engineer it and work it out for a known design. I will have a look tonight for the relevant pages. The bigges
