FWIW I use a couple of different tapes:
- Short term use ie a few months (eg wing roots) I use the Bowlus
tape from Bruce Taylor.
- Long term use ie 12 months or more, I use 3M type 471 tape. The 3M
stuff is available from most packaging distributors and can b

Hi Grant,
To get tape glue residue off easily use a supermarket product called "Oomph".
It is used mostly to take bar code and label glues off stuff you buy but I have
used it on gap seal tape residue and it works very well. Better than other
solvents.

I've used Bowlus Maxi Tape for ages and would recommend it.

Most decent engineering suppliers should stock felt. The best quality
is rabbit felt and you may be lucky to buy another real Aussie product
refined by people somewhere else. 6mm rabbit felt.
If you get a metre, you can use the offcuts for a nice hat.
Neoprene as in wetsuits might do.

When looking for felt washers I found them under "felt" in the yellow pages.

Does anyone know where you can obtain felt (preferably white) suitable
for relining a tail dolly? I think it would need to be about 5mm thick.
The original felt has worn very thin.
Thanks

The possible drawback with some ideas, including the "digitised" WAC
charts is that the base resolution is not very high. When you change
the scale of view, or print size, you may get fuzzy or pixelated type
or it may be too small to see.
The Maptrax WAC charts appear to be just scanned charts and
