Do you think it's possible that the stretch marks in CK act like the

He wasn't asking if it was necessary to have the latest and greatest to

Re: [Aus-soaring] Gliders wanted for MultiClass
First of all, Dave, why the sarcasm? It appeared to me that you had
overlooked something, and I pointed it out.
James would have won the comp on a hangar door - he literally had a
disadvantage, but was good enough to overcome it. The disadvantage /
advantage in choice of aircraft is not
Good point Nigel.
Another point is that there is no god given entitlement for people to be
able to compete in the latest greatest...
Hire a club astir from somewhere and fly the Club Class Nationals - It's
no less competitive.

I could be wrong - I thought my old 5500 only had an SD card slot. My new
H4700 has both SD CF.
I'm sure there is a CF sleeve available for the 5500.

I know a few square-ish shouldered people who fit in Standard Libelles
I am also an advocate for the Cirrus - although people will tell you that
the all-flying tail is deadly (where are these comments, by the way -
surely they are overdue for this thread) It really isn't an issue.
I can't find any on the comp website (
http://www.boonahgliding.com.au/blueclouds/eastercompsresults.html ) . Bit
of deja vu here as well - we went through the same thing last year.
Surely there is someone in QLD that can keep a comp website up to date.

If an aircraft has a mechanism (separate handle or end of airbrake travel)
to actuate a wheel brake, but the brake has been disabled or is not
functioning as it should, should it not be filled out as a minor defect in

Ben,
You have to be less than 26 years old at the start of the competition.
There are no limitations with regard to flying experience - we have had
pilots with 100hrs, and pilots with 4000hrs!

I guess the descision has to be made early in a nosewheel aircraft whether
or not to apply the wheel brake.
The Puchatek in particular, in my experience, is a particularly nose heavy
nose dragger. With both cockpits empty it will sit on either the nose or
tail depending on what you want. With
Dave,
The nationals rules don't apply to state competitions - they apply to
national competitions. Makes perfect sense to me. The state based
competitions arent modifying the nationals rules - they have their own.
Good thing too, they are entry level events.
The state based cricket
Further to this, the rules for both nationals and state competitions are
largely formulated by the attendees themselves at Pilot's Meetings. The
wishes of a body of pilots attending a National Competition may not be the
same as the pilots attending a State Competition.

Hi There,
This year through the use of our WebStore, JoeyGlide are able to offer our

these shirts are subsidising the contest, so if you would like to help us

I think the better option is the CompactFlash sleeve with the CompactFlash
GPS. I use one with Winpilot on my Ipaq - it's a no-brainer to set up.
They are readily available on eBay.
This is possibly an even better option than powering through a Cambridge
Logger (Model 20 or 302) as it doesn't
