conjunction as one will pick up the bits the other has missed. By

I use Symantec AntiVirus, AdAware, and Spybot Search and Destroy for
cleaning my machine, and download new definitions (updates) twice a week,
and keep the software up-

spyware that Ad Aware had missed. It is also free.
