maps to SeeYou programs? The mapping available from the manufacturer only hints

Perhaps of more interest than `normal' satelite images would be the
topo data available from the SRTM mission. All of AU in 3' squares,
height to the meter. It is about 1.3 CDs worth once it is

While the US military may have such grand plans to keep the civilian
population in the dark, there are a number of commercial, non-US companies
who are quite happy to sell high resolution satellite imagery to whoever is
prepared to pay for it. The French had a company (SPOT ?) who have be
