I support the concept of direct election
of a GFA management team. However I think we have a constitutional hangup
similar to the Australian Parliament, where the States believe they will loose
representation if the jerrymander institution, the Senate, is made democratic or
(shock horror) el

We obviously have some extreme admin. problems with the size of Australia and its
states. The high travel costs to get to meetings is only going to increase with the
death of Ansett. These all add to the standard problem of good intentions that later
