Calls from Telstra mobiles in Adelaide to our AAPT and Amcom SIP trunks started
failing around the time this was reported.
Still not working at the moment.

I would recommend the DuxCell with 4G option. While a little over your
budget it ticks all other options and is very reliable, plus you get the
full RouterOS.
It's essentially a RB912 RouterBoard with Sierra MC7304 LTE card. You can
add another UFL pigtail to it to connect in a 4G antenna that has

Have done so with the Aircard 320u's but was not the most reliable thing to me.
Going to try for a separate unit with external antenna's at this stage.

Hi,
This isn't exactly a plug, but I've had good experiences dealing with this

Maybe someone thought buying Samsung batteries for all the Telstra
exchanges was a good cost-saver? ;)

I have some excellent options that I hadn't see yet now.

That'd be my guess. With as many rectifier systems as Telstra run
nationally it doesn't surprise me that one lets go now and again.

Reports say fire is out and was on Level 2 of the exchange.
Level 2 according to a Telstra mate has an AXE PSTN switch and a power room.

Hi,
Do you have an idea of what speeds and bands you require?
While it is a "home" device, for speed, the Netgear AirCard 810S, or
Nighthawk M1, is the fastest (LTE CAT 16, up to 1 Gigabit d/l, and 150 Mbit
u/l) and supports the most bands (700, 900, 1800, 2100, 2600 MHz):

Morning everybody,
I was wondering what people are using for LTE terminations these days.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the info.
I've had a *lot* of direct emails from people / organisations that said
they had no outage notification and were impacted, we certainly did not
receive any outage notification either and essentially all our internet
was out for a good portion of that 2 hour window.
Hey Sam,
I received a planned outage notification for 21st between 7am and 4pm for
emergency fibre repairs on one of our services from Sydney to Melbourne.
The notice advised of 2 x 50ms outages but we actually experienced huge
latency (>3 seconds) for over 2 hours.

We first started noticing the usual massive packet loss within their
network which isn't anything new for us as PIPE/TPG seem to
