I'm trying to set up intercompany (IC) trading between company A (Mother) and Company B (Daughter). Everything works fine when I make a Purchase order in B and IC makes a sales order in company A. So far so good. But at the same time I want company A (Mother) to be able to make a purchase

I think you can turn off average cost using the standard cost. But in this case the cost is considered known !. The cost is a standard .. and profit and loss on issue and reciept can be tracked from the accounts!. If its not stanndard cost , axapta always uses an average cost on every sales !.

Thoughts ! Microsoft must provide some good docs on how axapta closes and recalculates inventory !! . .It took a long time for me to actually grab whats happening when you do a close or recalculate !!! The partner source docs do help but does not cover it in deep ! Regs JimVan Den
