I'm trying to set up intercompany (IC) trading between company A
(Mother) and Company B (Daughter). Everything works fine when I make
a Purchase order in B and IC makes a sales order in company A.
So far so good.
But at the same time I want company A (Mother) to be able to make a
purchase
If financial inventory is on (inventory dimension) average
cost is not per item but per batch (I think this is what you mean by "actual
cost").
The only way to not have awp (temporary is to use standard
cost (inventory model group)

I think you can turn off average cost using the standard cost. But in this case the cost is considered known !. The cost is a standard .. and profit and loss on issue and reciept can be tracked from the accounts!.
If its not stanndard cost , axapta always uses an average cost on every sales !.
:-) .. Jus confirmed ! :-)

I think you can turn off average
Thoughts !
Microsoft must provide some good docs on how axapta closes and recalculates inventory !! . .It took a long time for me to actually grab whats happening when you do a close or recalculate !!! The partner source docs do help but does not cover it in deep !

provide, now only they changed the look and feel.
The toolkit requires a license and runs only on
Navision, so truly speaking it is not Axapta Toolkit,
but Navision Toolkit.

So average cost is always applied (but yes if it is within
the same batch and all items in the batch
are purchased at the same price then average will be actual :) )
But does anyone know in the programming where it is possible to change so
that at the time of invoice posting
Vaibhav,
Thanks for the extensive Tool kit Information.
