Hi All,
I am trying to find the report
name in the AOT for the Inventory Journal Lines - Transfer – Report. I
tried tracing it through the menus but was unsuccessful in finding the
name of the report.
The Axapta navigation to produce
the report is:
Menu -> IM => Journal
=> Item transactio

Have to add some additional remark: where can we see the id numbers
of the forms? .
I noticed that probably the following application objects receive a
new id number upon modification in a higher layer:
- forms
- queries
- reports
- macros
- jobs
- menus
- menu items

Thanks for the information. Looking back at my question indeed I
answered part of it myselve.
Thus if I understand it well then only reports and forms are copied
into the next layer when a modification is made.
What the Developers guides says about layers does not count for all
kind
Yes, the default configuration in Axapta Configuration Utility will affect the whole
workstation. But what you can do is create an AXC file for each user on the
workstation. Open Axapta Configuration Utility, change de language and save the
configuration on the desktop of the user and ask them

Normally the configutation is stored in the personal settings of the
user. Means every user has its own configuration.
If you start axapta with a global configuration than of cause all
users have the same language.

diferent layer you only change fields or properties. Take the field
