You don't have to to my understanding - but you can.
We don't use Warehousing as are products are made on
demand. We have JIT, or Just in Time Inventory - but as for Sales Items we do
share all related information for them with all of our companies through Virtual
Companies.

items table also share item group, units, warehouse, etc...) when

Strange it seems the sales order I had created sometime ago (when I had
not setup my posting settings correctly) was not able to post and gave the error
messages but when I created a new sales order (after having done my positng
settings) for exactly the same customer

(make sure the group one is allowed)..
