I strongly advise you that you don't discourage others
to take training from MS learning solutions competency
partners. May be in US, you do not find any trusted
source for training or I do not know how you have got
succeeded either

1)I think you need to enter inventdim data first before you improt the Invent
journal and Invent journal trans.
2)And please be careful,you'd better to enter the Inventdim data manually
than using data export/import if you inventory dimension is not very

AX 4.0 is not longer on ODBC I believe in Active Directory you can make a
trust relationship between the two domains that this would work.

My honest opinion on this is that I believe that training in Dynamics AX is
great in giving you a jump start. What you get out of the training can be
dependent on several factors. The more practical experience you have the better
it will be, plus the way how the instructor delivers the course.

I think what Subbu meant in general was not to go to any Fly by Night type
operators, he has not mentioned or discouraged anybody not to go to MS
Certified or MS Partners. If an institution is a certified MS partner or MS
certified compentency center then you have don't have to worry.

I am also faced the same problem when I am trying install the Ax4.0
Indian version in my laptop. This is because of service is not in the
status Automatic hence I manually started the service after that it is
working fine for me. I am not sure the reason for the same. If any one
