Ideally, you should not change the base EDT properties just for mere report changes. You can define a Real variable and assign AmountMSt to that real value. And then display that real value on the report. you SHOULD get proper alignment. pls let me know if you need more details. kind regards,

I have a report (DAX2009) based on the VendTrans table. The field AmountMST is shown in DR/CR format. How can I adjust the value properties in the AOT so that it lists in one column, with Credits preceeded with a minus sign, rather than DR on the left and CR on the right? Thank you, -John R.
