i have checked the Mendatory Credit Limit, and have a credit limit amount.
now if customer exceed Credit Limit and under Parameters i have setup as below
Credit Limit Type: Balance
Check Credit Limit: Balance
Message when exceeding Credit Limit: Error

I agree with Augus if you are on 4.0.
In 3.0 the method checkCreditLimit on custtable needs to be changed in
4.0 MS has created a dedicated class for customer credit limit check.
