even though only SalesTable and SalesLine are required
its important to get the correct InventDimId in the
salesLine table. As everyone knows that the
inventDimId is created depending upon the dimension
combination i dont use the standard axapta template
import.

You may like to create the Excel spreadsheet from Axapta Administration>>Periodic>>Data export/Import >> Excel Spreadsheet. I have upload sales orders & Lines using the same technique, quite simple. If you need the format let me know.
