What I was suggesting is a manual process, it appears that you want it
automated... need to investigate that.
What I was suggesting, is that the planned production orders are changed
to planned purchase orders (one of the functions gives you this
ability). So perhaps your manufacturing

1. You always Purchase this Item
2. In rare case u need to do some Quality Testing and
minor modification it.
So here what i think -
1. Setup the Purchase item of type - Item
2. Create another Item of type - BOM, where the BOM
line will be the Item you
