Bill,
Axiom-developer has been moved from a shared-virtual server
(basically vmware-ish) to a shared dedicated server. the
shared dedicated server is a dual-processor hyper-threaded
machine with only 4 customers so we basically get a full
processor and a gig of memory to ourselves.

system which is open source, he said, with a grin.
Axiom was originally developed at IBM Research and I was one of
the original authors. IBM sold it to the Numerical Algorithms
Group (NAG) in 1992 and it was on the commercial
to make life even easier (since otherwise it won't happen :-) )

No, look at ALLPROSE. There is an index and I don't say \input{blah.ind}.

just for the record... I partially succeded to htlmify ALLPROSE by using
tex4ht. See http://www.hemmecke.de/aldor for what I currently achieved.
