i've used the "attachment" sample from IBM's Webservice site.

its different from the "echoattachment" sample, but it seems to be a good
SOAP/RPC implementation for attaching files and getting them to the server.

This is a legitimate question. The attachment sample is a DII (dynamic
invocation) sample for good reason. AXIS doesn't yet support attachments
in WSDL. I believe it MUST before AXIS 1.0 is released, but how soon that
happens is unknown.
