In this connection, regarding the question for switching between
windows, is there a discussion / decision ?

Hi i'm ghogaru. I'd like to present my Unity Launcher Workspaces docklet

Hi all
Would it be not a good idea to make the launcher more living by adding a
zoom when we are moving the mouse over an icon on the launcher as Docky does

Unity has made a good step forward and it would good to make it more living

I like this idea, but I don't like the icon of the expose mode ! it makes me

Just got the news from the following link:

My opinion is - 'Control Center' should be in 'Launcher' not in 'Session

Another problem is, there is a chance to click the SHUT DOWN button
mistakenly while clicking the CONTROL CENTRE.

Someone else suggested putting it in the Me Menu
This would solve both problems of not being close to Shut Down nor cluttering
up the Launcher

I agree with putting it in the Me Menu. We can't put everything only one
click away, since with all that you want to do on a daily basis, that would
make for a very cluttered environment. Frequently used apps should go in the
launcher, along with the places. Most other things should be left out.

Me menu sounds promising.

Bit of stretch maybe, but...
Preferences are personal. They're about what you want, as opposed to system
Given that Windows puts it's Control Panel link in the same “space” as its
session management options¹ this is at the very least consistent and pretty
familiar behaviour.

Hi all,
At the moment it is only possible to maximize a window but it's not
possible to minimize a window in Unity by clicking it's icon.
The minimize button in the top panel is a option but it would be nice if
it is possible to minimize the window by clicking on the icon in the
Unity launcher.

Jeremy Bicha has proposed merging lp:~jbicha/lo-menubar/description-lp-733615
into lp:lo-menubar.
Requested reviews:
LO Menubar Rockstars (lo-menubar-team)
Related bugs:

I should add that I'm not sure if this is the correct place to propose this or
not... it's a branch of lp:~ubuntu-desktop/indicator-applet/ubuntu originally...
