I had several answers my query and the consensus seemed to say the part
in question was "Igancio da Camara, auzente (absent)". In the many
records I have looked at this was the first one that used that term.

which was interesting.
I came across a family that used the name Raposo Quintanilha.
Quintanilha is listed as a family name in Guill's History of the Azores.
