I have a Isabel Sodre who married Manuel Correia de Mello on 12 Nov
1690 in Santa Cruz, Graciosa.
Her parents were Francisco Nunes and Isabel Sodre.
I also have a Diogo Vaz Sodre who married Biolonaja da Cunha. His
parents were Vasco Gil

Unfortunately I don't have a Manoel Gonçalves in my line that I am aware
of. Sorry! I have just started doing my family history and so I haven't
really branched off of the main line yet. If I come across a Manoel
Gonçalves or de Souza I will let you know. Hopefully someone else on the
Lisa, it translates as Fraternity of the Holy Christ men and women. This
group is derived from the Church of Santo Cristo (Holy Christ). They
normally get together for prayer or charitable works. My aunt in Fall River
belonged to it and her obituary said the same thing.
