Me again. I've also checked the Amorim book for Sao Joao during the years 1830
- 1860. There are no Daniels listed there either. Not good news. However, it
does mean one less village to research so I hope that helps.

Marianna did have a son named Daniel.according to the site born in
1844.it's one of those records with no info attached like the ones for my
relatives who came to the states and left no info behind
