I found a Maria da Gloria Barbosa b. Agua Pau who left Ponta Delgada

I am going through birth records of my gr grandfather Joseph da Rosa
Furtado's siblings. There are various ways that they list the father
and grandfather. The one I am most curious about is this one which

by naming tradition.. I was wondering does the child take the father's
name first, then the mother's? etc

I've come across digo in baptism records in the archives of the
Angra and Horta public libraries, and the locals told me that (as
Cheri says) it just means oops. I guess the scribes weren't allowed
to cross anything out, and didn't have ink erasers ;-) Katharine.
