More likely Siqueira (Sequeria). I have seen that name in the records. I am not
sure I've seen Figuiera in Norte Grande but I'm not an expert and we all know
about Portuguese names! :)

I didn't see any obvious ages of the coupledid I just miss it or were they
not there? My first thought was Figueira but the name Sequeira is so much more

This was a tuff one.Had to go back to birth records to figure out this one. The
father of the groom is pretty clear that is Jose de Simas. His mom I could only
figure out Lian... couldnt be Lianor cause cause the rest doesnt end in OR.

Sondrea: If you can get to the State Library in Sacramento, CA, you might be
able to find the marriage info. Actually, it would probably be at the State
Archives, which is about a block from the library.
I don't know if you can get it from the Alameda County Courthouse in Oakland.
