Are you referring to the Center for Portuguese Cultural Studies (UMD)? The only source within that site that I can think of that might have such information would be the death notices published in the Portuguese Journal (the Center has one of the largest collections of the Portuguese Journals

Hi Deb, I'm just now seeing your posting from last August, sorry I missed it. My great grandmother's name is Maria Inacia Martins, she was born on Faial either Feteira or Horta about 1435-1840. She married a Jose Pereira Pinheiro, date unknown. They had at least 2 children that I know of.
