[AZORES-Genealogy] How to find relatives still living in Faial and/or Pico

2013-05-04 Thread Fawnie
Good Day, I was wondering how I would begin a search to find relatives still living in Faial and/or Pico. After my search for the Silveira family, I believe that their are descendents of my G.G. grandmother that never left the Faial and/or Pico to come to America. I have the names of the si

Hi Fawnie,This type of request is one of the most common I get, especially when someone wants to make a trip and experience the joy of talking to relatives. My brother is doing this exact thing next week for Pico. You can email me privately with the details of those from Pico and I can check my data

Fawnie, If you will post the names you have to the list, approximate birth years and where they settled here in the US, listmembers may have already researched them and/or give you guidance and support. We can help to find them on ship's manifest which might help you find them on Passportes, etc.

Hi Joy, These are death records. The bottom right record is the one having to do with your Manuel Silveira, however it relates to the wife of Manuel Silveira. You will have to scroll back on the years to find the death record of your Manuel Silveira. It states: Maria Faustina, widow of
