I'm having trouble reading the parents of Francisco, my 7th GGF, in his
marriage record with Thereza Ferreira. Here's what I can make out:
Francisco Carneiro's parents:
f. ? Carneiro
m. Maria _? (deceased)
Thereza's parents are readable.
Here's the URL (record on right side):
Thanks Cheri for the tidbit. Policarpo Furtado born 1755 in Achada is my 4th
great grandfather's brother.

Hi JR, after writing my last email, I went back and found the marriage
record for Maria's parents, Francisco da Sousa and Thereza Ferreira. Here's
the URL for the record (left side):
I can why he was Francisco de Sousa Carneiro. His father was Belchior
Carneiro. Sameiro could be Sambreiro or Sambeiro as a nick name.
RS-SP, March 21, 1723, Francisco de Souza filho d Belchior Carneyro e
Victoria Mourata nats and res Ribeira Seca de RG cc Thereza Ferreyra filha
de Manoel
I think there are about 3 or 4 Ribeirinhas. It's important to state the
freguesia AND island in BOTH the subject at the body.
My ISP cuts off the subject. Sometimes, it feels like I walked into the
middle of the conversation. I can't see the subject and the email makes no
sense.
