turns up in S.Miguel for Portugal was under Spanish rule for almost a
century.

The records for Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery I have in a database that I constructed
from the 14 books that are at All Saints Church in Hayward. I worked on the

sheep or ram). I was, however, more interested in the Carneiro surname, as
I am descended from an early settler in Sao Miguel with this name.
