Thanks. My paternal grandmother, Rosa Cipriana de conceicoa de Amaral, emigrated sometime is the mid to late 1960's. And my paternal aunts and uncle [Amaral] emigrated to Sao Paulo and Rio probably between 1930's and 1950's. How would I serch for them? I've only just started this geneology journey

Hi, Goto familysearch.org they have the actual immigration cards, with pictures, for Rio de Janeiro 1900-1965, and Sao Paulo, 1902-1980. I would suggest that you become familiar with familysearch...they have many collections available to view online, and if not, you can order the microfilm.

The Azores GenWeb Site is the place to go for help. Kathy Cardoza has maps of each Island along with the Freguezia names(village), and the church names.
