Hi Dave, I know you've been searching for a while, so this is probably a dead end you've already pursued, but here's a death record for Edna Velma Cota from Tulare, CA https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VPC3-5LB Tulare is only a few miles from Hanford. Some other thoughts (again, prob

Hi Joao, Antonio da Fonseca Saraiva and Catarina Escoto are my ancestors (8xGGPs) through their daughter Maria da Fonseca. I have her marriage record, and I''ve also found a marriage record for their son, Sebastiao. That is all I have for that line so far. I think the links are all in this

Barbara, it's not what you're doing that's the problem. It's the website. I informed them but it falls in deaf years and they regurgitated the same thing over and over. I finally gave it up. It seems to now work only for citizens with the citizen card. Margaret On Tue, Sep 29, 2015 at 6:04 PM,

Liz: If you have access to Ancestry.com you may be able to find the same people in their 1900 Census. Perhaps that will give the street, and if not, you can search forward or back until the street is identified. Worth a try, though I have found cases where the streets are never listed. Denis On

Have you done DNA testing? Most of my matches for Flores involve Avelar ancestors. Corvo was too rocky to provide enough food for the growing population. Eric Edgar On Thu, Oct 1, 2015 at 12:30 PM, Kawika322 wrote: > Thanks for all the input everyone. I will have to do more searching. > > E

While looking at obitos for Ponta Delagda, Flores, I noticed this almost three page entry for Agostinho Antonio de Barcellos http://www.culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/FLR-SC-PONTADELGADA-O-1770-1837/FLR-SC-PONTADELGADA-O-1770-1837_item1/P152.html

I think that tracking down Florencia's baptism record , obit, or the marriage record of either Pedro or Monica could provide some confirmation. I tend to think it is the same mother. The 1792 to 1806 time frame would easily be in childbearing years. It is also a time when many people left Corvo to

Hi Depending on how common the name Florencia appears in the records during that time frame of 13 years would determine to me if it was the same person. If it appears as a very uncommon name, then I would say they were the same person. Also, In order to make a good determination, I would che
