This link provides quite a bit of information regarding U5 including it's distribution among European populations. It is believed to be the most common maternal lineage of the European(hunter gatherers) who were blue eyed and brown skinned.

Hi Paul, I have this couple in my husband’s tree. Catherina is his 10th great aunt. There is a note on her parents that indicates I have more information on them in my binder (which I don’t have with me right now). I do have the marriage date for Ignacio and Catherina if you would like it.
