Indeed, Margaret. this listing looks consistent with what I have for the parents of my great-grandfather Jose Rodrigues Casquilha (born 1888): Francisco Rodrigues Casquilha and Marie Jose Ermelinda. His siblings were Maria Ermelinda Casquilha (born 1879) and Joao Rodrigues Casquilha (born 1885).

My parents are coming back today from their 2 week vacation on Sao Miguel. I know the flight there was fine with Azores Airlines and the stewardesses were very helpful with them. Seems there was a half hour delay going and we'll see how coming back will be. Really bad weather right now in Canada

Thanks again Cheri, I'm confident at the % of Portuguese in my estimates knowing the rest of my ancestry back five or six generations. All existing documents place my great great grandfather in either Pico, Azores or Madeira (though I think Madeira was only a stepping stone) and DNA matches sup
