I had to try 2 times to get the download to go through. I am sure it has to
do with the number of people transferring data. The second time it only
took about 3 minutes and then it popped up that it was done.
Sure glad it was extended until the 16th of December.

I found this out also because I had saved some files of downloaded raw dna on
my computer from when I uploaded to Gedmatch. I was trying to get this done
quickly and used those files!
Then when Richard commented that 36 would not work, I double checked what I had
done and thought “ oh no!!”.
I am responding to the My Heritage thread since the deadline is now Dec.
16th.
Gordon S,
Amazon DNA? Did you mean AncestryDNA? Ancestry DNA tests about half the
markers of FTDNA and My Heritage (FTDNA and My Heritage uses the same chip
of about 700,000 markers). So your match results for FTDNA
I uploaded my Amazon DNA to Family Tree and then to My Heritage. I saw very
little difference. I don’t like MyHeritage program so have deleted it and
continue to use FTM until Legacy has a MAC option or I talk to someone about
partitioning my hard drive.

Ally; Thanks for your note. I was successful uploading a 2nd time. All is
well and I have some new “cousins” to check out!

Marsha S,
You probably have a couple of thousand matches over at AncestryDNA.
However, in the transfer to My Heritage, you will have more matches with
your FTDNA results. Their DNA chip tests almost twice the family markers
that AncestryDNA tests.

Sam -
My Heritage Uploads - yes you can upload a second time - if you change the
name of the upload.
What will happen, is that when the 2nd upload appears, it may make a note
to you that the two entries are the same. You have the opportunity then to
correct the uploads by deleting one of them.
Glad you got it resolved.
