Portuguese marriages in New Bedford were earlier at St.John.s in the Southend
and then later at Immaculate Conception in the northend. They would have any
records that were performed there. Baptism,Marriage and Death.

Pacheco Raposo. First wife was Guilhemina Bothelo Ambar who died after three
children. My grandmother had 6 children. They arrived in New York on 7 Feb
1900 and lived after that in New Bedford. They all were from
