Kim G, de la is Spanish, not Portuguese. da Rosa is Portuguese. Joseph is Jose and Constance is Constancia in Portuguese. Just knowing Faial or Sao Miguel is not enough. It's like saying California or New York and there is no statewide index or Ancestry to help. You have to have the island
