I bumped into something strange while going to marriages in the village of
Santa Cruz, Graciosa. I found the marriage I was looking for in an index in the
end of the book, nº. 596, Tomas Nogueira Picanço and D. Maria de Bettencourt,

You are awesome! I looked through all the baptismal records on San Miguel
from 1872 through 1874 and only found that one Serafim. I had started
working my way through 1871 but I was getting a lot of Errors so I dropped
it for a bit.

I've just started to research the Moraes side of my family in the Azores.
I've found the baptismal records for all my aunts uncles born in Faial.
Using them I've been able to locate the baptismal record for my
grandmother from Pico. Everything points to my grandfather having been
born on

I'd look at the film first to see if they are missing there. Then email
the CCA if you do find # 1-3 on film.
