I am wondering if anyone can recommend a person who does research for the
island of Flores. If you have used someone and liked their service that would
be very helpful. Al Sequeira --

Al,
I research Flores, and have access to all available books and data bases. I
also have relatives on the island who may be able to search locally.
Contact my private email.

Ancestral Quest is the program I use and it has many features. I am just
getting into the collaboration part of AQ. Using it I can save my data on
the cloud in a secure server and access it from other locations (ie the
library or even a friends house). You can share access to other family or

I have to agree with Dora. I use Personal Ancestral File & have for years.
I was sad when I heard this program will not be upgraded in the future but
I still use it. You can import pictures, keep lots of notes & document

Greetings,
I started with using legacy and I still use it. Thanks to a cousin, I now have
the family website on tribal pages. It is free up to a certain amount. I have
yet to reach that limit point. My cousin has 25,000 names so he pays a small
fee. I can put citations on it as well as pictures.
For Elaine,
If you are using the same program on different computers (desktop and
laptop), you can back up to a flash drive or use Dropbox.

Hi E.
Do you use a Mac or a PC? What program are you using? Are you using one
program, but on two different computers and wanting to know how to share the
data between both computers? All things we need to know to try to help.:)
