the record. I believe this is the correct record (maybe the priest had too much
vino that day). There is one other Escolastica Maria who died in 1842, but the

This is a difficult record to understand. To me it appears Obit for Maria,
married to Bernardinho Jose de Arruda, July 3, 1848, received sacrament of
Penance and Extreme Unction. Then it says something about her husband and then
it says has 28 years of life./28 yrs old.
You'll need
Escolastica Maria do Espirito Santo married to Bernardinho Jose de Arruda,
deceased on July 13 1848 and 28 years old.
All else is about having received the Sacraments with burial on July 14 1848
