Thanks Cheri. I do not know where Jane Whittle was born that is what I am
trying to find but her marriage certificate says she was from the isle of
St. Michael and I think that could be Sao Miguel because she had
connections to Portugal and there were Whittles there. I appreciate your

Where was Jane Whittle born? You never state that.
The Azores is an autonomous region of Portugal. They consist of 9 islands,
the largest of which is Sao Miguel. San Miguel is one of the Channel
Islands off the coast of California. :)
