In the light of recent harddrive failures, I'm wondering if you would
consider a new feature request for Backuppc, such as creation of
backuppc live-CD.
I see it as a CD based on any live-cd distro which already exists, and

some files are not in the repository :-/

I am wondering if there is a way to "regenerate" the data that exists in a
file named "backups". It is located in /data/pc/username/. There appears to
be an accompanying file named "backups.old". I don't know what happened but
