I recently released BackupPC version 2.1.2 on SourceForge.
This release fixes a number of bugs in 2.1.1. See
http://backuppc.sourceforge.net.
I've attached the change log since 2.1.1.
Enjoy!

I've seen the screenshots at the web site, and my opening CGI BackupPC

Every time I do a full backup, Backup PC seems to hiccup on the last

Hi, all. I'm new to this list, but have been over the archives, and
have mostly solved the problems I've been seeing. I'm growing my pool
of backed-up boxes slowly, as they are all different in one way or another.
I saw an email with the subject above, sent by "edjee007" on/about 9/1.

Seems that BackupPC has been integrated in a enterprise product:

Hi,
I've got a test server set up to backup two servers. Right now backuppc is running :
-bash-2.05b# ps axuw | grep "dump"
backuppc 2084 1.4 5.1 508280 24688
? S 10:00

backuppc 2085 0.2 62.7 758832 300944
? S 10
I've been, and will continue, searching through the archives but am not
finding the answer for the problem I am seeing.
I am able to successfully login to the machine in question, but when I attempt
to access any of the directories I get NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED. See below:

Witam,
You should use the rsync package provided on the backupPC site. It is
optimised for BackupPC.
I tried this package first, the same message.

Hi everyone,
I'm sort of have the same problem, well with rsync on windows, the rsync
just hangs/freezes, and ofc the backup then does not finish..
Its very inconsistent, it works 99.9% of the time, just sometimes, it
decides to freeze up, and stop responding.
