I'm not an IT specialist but have successfully setup a Backuppc system at my
small museum that has been running well for several years. I have 15 or so
clients, mostly XP with some Vista, and Windows 7 with a few Macs and Linux
machines as well. Most of the Windows machines I do with DeltaCopy

how to further troubleshoot or any hint what's going wrong there?
The backup starts fine- but stays in the running status nearly forever
and finally says Child exited prematurely. But I don't know why. Only

I have run one successful full backup of a Winxp machine and in an
attempt to run an incremental, I consistently receive child exited
