We are looking at introducing 6 new Windows 2003 Enterprise 64 Servers
into our business in the not too distant future.
As the rest of the servers (Mostly Redhat EL3 with a few FreeBSD boxes
and a couple of 32 bit Windows servers) are backed up using Bacula we
intend to use it on the

Summary: I added "Max Run Time = 27h" and "Max Start Delay = 61h" to my
job definitions and scheduled my weekend "Full" backup to begin Friday
at 7:00 PM. As a result, five jobs got canceled and my spooling size
changed from 5.0GB to 2.6GB after the first job was canceled. But why?

I am right now rebuilding the catalog for old tapes that are marked
purged in the database. This seems to take a very long time (5 tapes).
My concern is now, that the next scheduled backup job will lead to
purging the catalog again.
