Hello,
a few days I downloaded and installed the new Windows 3.0 version because I got
one of these 'can't stat file' error messages.
I did a new installation.
The 'can't stat file' messages are gone - thanks!

I am playing with the virtual full and copy job options and I have a

I was a little too aggressive and deleted everything from the USB drive
including the index. So I shut down bacula, deleted the vchanger drive
directory in /var/lib/bacula, restarted bacula and ran "vchanger -u

Hello,

Since 9.04 is just about to be released, unless someone builds custom
packages, I would expect it to who up in 9.10.

Bacula requires another package/daemon/... (or just configuration?)

Since we just bought new tapes, I want to do it the right way now: i want
to know when I started using each tape, and how many times a tape was

Hello Jean-Sebastien,
on monday morning I got a no disk space problem, because the daily dump of
the Bacula database appended in one file on the root-partition. After
nearly over one month the file had a size of nearly 22GB. I removed the
file so that I got my free space back. I changed the con

I have my backups that works, but is not securised with TLS...
When used TLS, i have erreor message :

How to use TLS ? where configure used TLS with this install ?
Can you make a "df -h" . This seems to be a no disk space left problem.

I decided to save the current 2.4.4 environment and upgrade to 3.0.0. If

You could simply set the database column to use 64 bits (how to do
that depends on the catalog backend you use).

I haven't done it myself, but I remember that there is a documented way
to fix the database to use 64-bit integers instead of 32-bit integers.
It is a common problem. A bit of Googling may help fill in the details.

Hi List,
does someone know if there is a workaround on FileID having reached the
2**32 max on rev. 2.4.4?
I would like to wait some more time before upgrading to rev. 3.0 in the
production environment (I believe rev. 3 has a bigger slot for that value,
isn't it?).
