I've seen a number of cases like this,
and it is a problem with VSS. Typically a reboot fixes the
problem, and if not, it may be that VSS is not installed or not

Jimmy,
I believe there is no timeout for the (Client)RunBeforeJob directive.
Probably you are receiving a time out from the command you sent to Mysql, so
this is the origin of this message and of the script error termination.

there is a RunBeforeJob that stops MySQL. Sometime its takes a while for MySQL

I have a laptop FD which has suddenly stopped backing up. It's struggling with
the VSS snapshot generation by the looks of it, but I don't know why.
It did have a few disk errors which I fixed using chkdsk. I have uninstalled

Hello, everyone.
Now that I am finally done with testing bacula, I am setting it up for 5

For each client I have a folder in which I want to store its Volumes.
During the tests, I used an Autochanger in the storage daemon.
Considering the different storage locations, do I need two devic

Hi Florian,
When I was talking about an external mail server, I was thinking of one in your
local network, external to your bacula server.
Sorry if I wasn't thinking far enough ;)
For most (home & small business) accounts, you should not need authentication
if you send the mail through the outg
Hello.
The problem is that I need to authenticate, when using gmx or gmail for
instance and I have found no way of doing this with bsmtp only.
