Hi all,
i've two jobs for one client, going to the same pool - and couldn't
change that.
the first job has a retention of 22 days, but the second job needs a
retention of 4 days.
any ideas how i could setup such a construct without defining the same
client twice,
or using a different pool?

is there any working sample to make a diskbased virtualfull within the
same pool? with 5.x (using 5.0.1) it should be possible, but the sd is
always telling me, that the device is busy.

i've a fresh bacula-setup (3.0.1), and the following problem..
after a job is finished, the director didn't write the batch-table
into the database.. that is what it looks like for me.. the job
is just frozen... but some smaller jobs work well.
any hints?

i've added a "maximum wait time" for all of my jobs, that
the whole backup won't freeze, becouse waiting for anything.
but now i've the situation, that maxwaittime cancels the job
while spooling. is that a bug or a feature, becouse the manual

due an configuration error, i've some peding jobs i would like
to cancel. but this seems to be impossible. i always have to
do a workaround by stopping bacula-dir and cancel the jobs

yesterday i did upgrade my bacula-dir and bacula-sd from 2.0.3 to 2.2.1.
if i just do a connect to director via bconsole with tls enabled, the
director immediately has 99.9% cpu, and the whole machine lags. after
disconnect the bconsole the cpu is back to normal and there is no
differ
i found the solution.. i had TLS enabled.
after disabling i've got 64MB/sec from bacula,
also the high cpuload with bconsole connected
is gone.
is there any possibility to improve tls performance,
or is it maybe a bug?

some update:
i've used 2.0.3 and updated to 2.2.1 now, but now the bacula-dir
makes 99.9% cpu while connected with bclient. i ran the director
with debug and strace, but i couldn't find anything that makes
this high cpuload. same with 2.2.0.
i also testet to transfer a 1 gig file from the bacula-

max-speed with scp.
any idea what the cause could be, or how i could improve the
