Hi Chaz, I opened a new doc added one word. saved to my desktop. opened it in a browser. then added 1 space, saved and it took 12 seconds before I could view it in the browser. I also just downloaded this new version of bbedit and it does the same thing. http://pine.barebones.com/seeding/bbed

Hi Chris, I removed the pref from ~/Library/Preferences/. I put it in the trash and deleted the trash because otherwise it would rewrite the preferences from the file being on the desktop. However since I installed the new version (and kept the old) now I can't tell which one put the preferen

Sort of. What has worked for me is to unchecked the "integrate with BBEdit" box in Dreamweaver, but then designate BBEdit as the external editor in the box right below that. I'm not next to a copy of Dreamweaver right now, so I can't tell you the exact names, but once you get on the correct page
