Option-select the text of the column.

I have used Ultraedit for many years in my professional life. This software
can be set to "Column" mode in which I can select text in each character
position from top to bottom. I was able to paste text from a webpage
arrange in a column and it remain in the format after pasting in into
BBEDIT
