I don't know if if there were changes that could impact this, but the image
you are using is a little on the old side. You could try the latest version
and get a different result.

Generally speaking, if the SW can't read a EEPROM, HW emulati
Digikey, Mouser, and Farnell may be your best bet. They ship

I just got a Micro-HDMI cable and DVI adapter and plugged the BeagleBone
Black into my 4-port KVM switch. The KVM is USB2.0 and VGA, so I am

I want to attach both the P8 and P9 headers to ribbon cables and connect
these to a separate PCB (Through hole on a vero board actually)

Hey,
I just purchased a beaglebone black and have just began tinkering around
with it. I have gotten a button to turn on and off a led light but wanted
to alter this a bit. I have written some code to turn the led on after the
first push, blink after the second, and turn off after the third. Th
I understand that and I realize there are ways of doing it, but for early
development this is the simplest way of doing it.

Did you follow the instructions on the Support Wiki? You are not supposed
to flash using USB power, so I am not sure you did..

I installed textinfo 4.13a from source and it took care of the problem on
fedora 19. Hope that helps if you want to use v2012.12.

connected to the reset line...and the power switch? I could not find it, so
