I am trying to use a newer image than I have in the past:
BeagleBoard.org Debian Image 2017-10-10
I have flashed the eMMC and am able to boot from it with no microSD card in
place.
I have been working for the last year with an older (2014) image and I

We use a battery and acpid to shutdown the board on power fail.
When power is removed the battery holds up the board for an orderly
shutdown then after
a predetermined time we remove battery power and wait for power to be
reapplied.
on the old kernels everything works great

Hi,
Just about to buy a PocketBeagle - ideal device to set up an record data
from a Bosch BME280 on a weather balloon.
One question, you say that the SD interface will accept most cards, but
what speed does it run to. E.g can it run a UHS-1 speeds? I see has only
has 4 data lines to the SD
you will need to insert the SD card in a live linux system.
then mount the SD card and edit the uEnv.txt file and remove whatever
changes you made
unmount the SD card and things should work when booting from SD card

I read some blogs.
In Adafruit_BBIO,
int add_edge_detect(unsigned int gpio, unsigned int edge);
int add_edge_callback(unsigned int gpio, void (*func)(unsigned int gpio));
can solve my problem.
I will try it.

it’s been a while, but I think the issue was resolved with a reboot of the
host, which is a macbook. I may have updated OSX as well.
Good luck!
